Against the backdrop of rising healthcare utilization and costs – Medicare insurance plans will have fewer options, higher costs and plan terminations 💡Insights for Your Practice PERA Medicare rates are going up again. Encourage your PERA clients to review individual plan options—many find lower premiums with equal or better coverage. Keep in mind: spouses without a subsidy are often paying significantly more under the PERA plan. 📅 Key Dates to Share with Clients * October 15 – December 7: Medicare Annual Enrollment Period * October 15 – December 31: Enrollment Period if plan terminated * October 21 – November 20: PERACare Annual Enrollment Period 🔑 Advisor Tip of the Month Now’s the time to ensure your Medicare referral partner is the right fit. Clients need extra guidance in today’s challenging market—yet some brokers skip annual reviews or try to offset commission cuts with prohibited fees. Choose a partner who puts your clients first.
